Community

Ring corporate employees are involved in the responsibility of community in the following ways:

 

• Providing leadership and financial support to educational and charitable organizations in the Memphis, TN area
• Engaging and volunteering in charitable events annually
• Involvement in sustainability events
• Participation in wellness programs and events
• Actively participating in recycling programs 

 

Commitments

At Ring, we believe in giving back and supporting worthy causes that make our communities better places to live and work. The following are a few of the causes we support:

 

 

We believe strongly in supporting children’s health initiatives, including LeBonheur Children’s Hospital (part of the Children’s Miracle Network). 

  

 

 

Ring supports the American Cancer Society through financial resources and participation in various local Relay for Life events across the country.

 

 

 

 

 

Ring has partnered with Fayette Cares in our US headquarters' county to assist those in need with help and hope, safety from abuse and lasting solutions.

 

 

 

 

 

We support higher education initiatives. One way we do this is through an Engineering Professorship with the University of Memphis.

Ring Employees in Action Across the U.S.

American Cancer Society

Members of our Oakland, TN headquarters staff participated in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, winning the Best Theme Award for “Freeze Out Cancer” and raising the most money in the county. The event was even more poignant due to the recent loss of a dear friend and co-worker to cancer.

 

 

Blood Drive

The Belle Fourche, SD plant recently held a blood drive that collected 22 units. Employees, customers and community members participated. United Blood Services advises “the demand for blood is steadily increasing and the units collected will help save lives in our area and beyond our shores.”

 

 

Supporting Our Troops

Employees at the Hanover, PA plant solicited names and addresses of area citizens that are serving in the U.S. armed forces who have connection to a Ring employee. Care packages with a variety of goodies from our vendors were prepared and sent to the service men and women overseas.
