About RAPAC

Founded in 1984, RAPAC services companies worldwide with a diverse range of polystyrene products. RAPAC is the largest recycler of EPS in the United States and one of the world's largest providers of loose fill packaging. RAPAC has expanded to offer wider applications of polystyrene including filler beads, molding beads and drainage beads.

In late 1992, RAPAC began supplying a recycled loose-fill product, and today is the largest supplier of recycled content loose-fill resin. Starting in 1998, through advances in densifying foam scrap, RAPAC moved its densifying operations inhouse. Because of continuous innovation and a drive to close the loop of sustainability in polystyrene products, RAPAC today, is proud to be the first company capable of scalable production of recycled content molding beads with the launch of the EcoSix™ line of resins.
